God's Plan of Salvation

Just as God has given us physical laws which govern the physical world, He also gives us spiritual laws which govern the spiritual world. God's spiritual laws for receiving His salvation are:

1. God loves you and has a plan for your life.
"'For I [God] know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.'" (Jeremiah 29:11)
2. However, your sins have separated you from God and His plan.
"For the wages of sin is death [spiritual separation from God]." (Romans. 6:23)

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Romans 5:12)

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

3. Your good works can never restore you to God.
"There is no one righteous, not even one." (Romans 3:10)

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags." (Isaiah 64:6)

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

4. God still loves you and sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins in order to restore you back to Himself.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"But God demonstrates His love for us, in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." (Ephesians 1:7)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

5. Jesus (Yeshua) is the only way of salvation, and you must receive Him as your personal Savior by faith and be "born again" in order to be saved.
"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.'" John 3:3-4

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.'" (John 14:6)

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
6. Jesus (Yeshua) is knocking at the door of your heart and asking to come in.
"Behold, I [Jesus] stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and I will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20)
7. If you want Jesus (Yeshua) to save you, you must confess Him as Lord and pray for Him to come into your heart.
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10)

If your answer is yes, then you can receive Jesus (Yeshua) right now by praying this prayer out loud:

Lord Jesus (Yeshua), I recognize that I am lost in sin and that You are the only one who can save me. I believe that You are God come in the flesh and that you shed your blood on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. I believe that you died and rose from the dead, and by faith, I receive you as my Savior and my Lord right now. I declare that I am "born again". I repent of my sins and ask that You help me walk in your ways. Fill me with your Spirit and teach me Your word, and I will serve You all the days of my life. In the name of Jesus (Yeshua) I pray - Amen!

If you received Jesus (Yeshua) as your Lord and Savior, you are now a born again child of God who has become a new creature in Christ.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12).

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

If you have received Jesus (Yeshua) as your Savior, you should:

1. Read your Bible every day.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
2. Talk to God through prayer every day and get to know Him Better

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6)
3. Be water baptized.

"And it came about in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan." (Mark 1:9) (Matthew 21:22)

"So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:41)

"And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household." (Acts 16:33)
4. Find a Bible-based church where you can worship, fellowship, and serve with other believers in the work of the ministry.

"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:25)
5. Tell others about Jesus (Yeshua).

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28:19)

"For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel." (1 Corinthians 9:16)

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
