"But while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; and he *saw the sky opened up, and an object like a
great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals
and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air. A voice came to him, "Get up, Peter, kill and eat!"
- Acts 10:10-13
When God gave Peter the vision of the sheet filled with unclean animals and told him to "kill and eat", was He really telling Peter to break His own commandment not to eat unclean food? Or was the Lord showing him something else totally unrelated to the dietary laws. This short but powerful teaching on clean and unclean meats clearly explains why God's New Covenant people should follow His dietary laws and why?
The proximity of Christmas and Hanukkah to each other has created what many refer to as the "December Dilemma".
This dilemma raises questions such as: Should New Covenant believers in Yeshua (Jesus) observe Christmas or Hanukkah? Or should they mix them
together and celebrate what has become known as "Christmukkah"?
"Christmas or Hanukkah: Unraveling the December Dilemma" is a Torah based teaching that examines the origins of both holidays, how they differ and why God's people should not mix them. It also reveals how the "Abomination of Desolation" is connected to the Hanukkah story (Matthew 24:15) and why that event is destined to repeat itself during the end time reign of antichrist.
Note to Partners: This teaching series contains the messages from our December 3 thru 24, 2011 Shabbat Webcasts.
At Ascension Ministries, our heart is to minister the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah from the Hebraic perspective in which
it was given. This is where we discover that Yeshua truly loved the Shabbat and taught us how to faithfully observe it the way
God originally intended. Hence, the purpose of our Shabbat Webcast is to provide a balanced arrangement of Messianic liturgy,
family blessings, Torah readings, teaching, preaching and prophesying. We also address current events as they relate to end time
prophecy and give financial updates regarding the global economic crisis. Our goal is to provide a Prophetic, Messianic, Charismatic
convocation that lifts up the name of Yeshua and reveals His kingdom to the nations
Scripture teaches that the political, financial and spiritual mysteries of ancient
Babylon reemerge in the last days to form a tyrannical world system that enslaves mankind. The book of Revelation refers to this
end time global entity as the Mystery of Babylon, but we know it today as Globalism.
Globalism and the Mystery of Babylon is a prophetic eye-opener that not only explains how modern day Globalism is the end time fulfillment of Mystery Babylon, but it also exposes the spiritual strongman behind today's New World Order Movement. This dynamic teaching uses the Hebraic interpretation of Scripture to restore the practical understanding of God's prophetic word and systematically brings you up-to-date on where we are in Bible prophecy. It also provides a biblical roadmap for "coming out of Babylon" and clarifies how God's people are to live in the world without being of the world.
"But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My Sabbaths; for this is a sign between
Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you."
- Exodus 31:13 NAS
God's appointed times, especially His Sabbaths, have always served as a sign that identifies His people and separates them from the secular/pagan world. As we approach the end of the age and the return of Messiah, one of the major signs that New Covenant believers (both Jews and gentiles) are returning to the Lord is the restoration of His Sabbaths in their lives. Consequently, more and more New Testament Churches are also moving from a Sunday morning church service to a Saturday morning Shabbat service. "Restoring God's Sabbaths: A Sign of the Times", is a prophetic teaching that was brought forth during one of those transitional services. It is a blessed word from the Lord that will inspire you to walk in the fullness of Messiah as together we prepare the way of the Lord.
Bible prophecy teaches that, in the last days, many gentile believers in Messiah will rediscover the Jewish roots of their faith. This
phenomenon is clearly manifesting today as born again Christians from around the world are seeking to learn more about God's Torah
and how it applies to them.
"Introduction to Torah" is a systematic bible study that introduces God's Torah to New Testament Christians who are seeking to understand its application in the New Covenant. It clarifies how to study and apply God's commandments in a believer's life without the sigma of being legalistic. This teaching brings Old and New Testaments together as one book inspired by God, and the study notes make it easy to share this understanding with others.
What does the Torah say about God's way of salvation? Most Evangelicals are under the impression that Christians who have returned
to their Hebraic roots have gone back under the Law and are now practicing a Gospel that is based on works righteousness.
"God's Law of Salvation" is a Torah based study that traces His unchanging way of salvation from Genesis through Revelation. Not only does it clarify how Torah leads us to salvation through faith in Yeshua (Jesus), but it also instructs us how to grow and work that salvation out in our lives (2 Tim. 3:15-16). This vital study helps both Hebraic and Evangelical Christians overcome the current confusion regarding what Torah teaches about God's salvation and clarifies how to apply His commandments in the New Testament.
"And it
shall serve as a sign to you on your hand, and as a reminder on your forehead, that the Law of the LORD may be in your
mouth"
- Exodus 13:9 NAS
In the last days, those who refuse to obey God's commandments, eventually end up denying Yeshua (Jesus) which leads them to bow down and worship the beast. At that time, they are given a mark in their hand or in their forehead that identifies them as belonging to the antichrist. However, what most people don't realize is that God also gives His people a sign [distinguishing mark] on their hand and on their forehead which identifies them as belonging to Him. Consequently, whether we realize it or not, everyone is in the process of embracing either the mark of the beast or the mark of God.
This teaching on "The Mark of God" explains how the Lord marks His people, so that when the last trumpet sounds they are brought into His presence, while those with the mark of the beast are thrown into the winepress of His wrath (Rev. 14:14-20).
This masters level course reveals how the gentile church becomes part of the "commonwealth of Israel" and enters into God's
six "Covenants of Promise" (Eph. 2:11-14). It clarifies how those six covenants are not done away with, but are brought forward and
fulfilled in God's seventh and perfect New Covenant of Messiah Jesus. This in-depth teaching also explains the biblical steps involved
when making a covenant with God and imparts a Hebraic understanding of what believers must do in order to walk this out in the New Covenant.
In a clear and straight forward exegesis of Scripture, you will see how both the Old and New Covenant function together as one. This series
includes:
"There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God, Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone
fall through following the same example of disobedience."
(Hebrews 4:9, 11)
Do "born again" believers in Messiah automatically come into God's rest when they receive Yeshua (Jesus) as Savior, or is there a Sabbath Rest that they have yet to enter? This exciting teaching offers a sound Torah-based exegesis of Hebrews 3 and 4, which explains how Israel failed to enter God's rest because of disobedience, and why disobedience prevents New Covenant believers from entering His rest today. This package includes study notes and a Midrash that further explore what Entering God's Sabbath Rest should look like in believer's life today.
God (YHWH) is calling His people to return to His appointed times of celebration, where He has revealed His eternal plan of redemption in Messiah
Jesus (Lev. 23). The spring feasts celebrate Messiah's first coming as God's (YHWH's) Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.
The Feast of First Fruits celebrates His resurrection as the "first fruits from among the dead" (1 Cor. 15:20). Pentecost celebrates
the giving of God's (YHWH's) Torah (Law) at Sinai and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Mt. Zion. This series includes:
Just as the Spring Feasts reveal the events surrounding Messiah's first coming, the Fall Feasts
of the Lord are celebrations that reveal the sequence of end-time events surrounding Messiah's seconding coming. These holy convocations
are prophetic rehearsals that show us when the rapture takes place and the wrath of God (YHWH) begins. They also shed a Hebraic light on
"the day and hour that no man knows" and the Judgment seat of Christ.
One of the most exciting studies of the last days that you will ever experience!
This series contains:
"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven. A time to give birth, and a
time to die..."
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)
If Jesus died at the "appointed time" of the Passover Feast, there has to be a feast that also marks the appointed time of His birth. Since Bible scholars worldwide have concluded that Messiah was not born on December 25th (Christmas), it is only logical that He was also born during one of God's (YHWH's) appointed feasts.
"The Appointed Time of Messiah's Birth" is an exciting new study that takes Scripture and lays it on top of the biblical calendar to explain why Jesus was undoubtedly born during the Feast of Tabernacles. This package includes study notes and a Midrash that further explores when and how to observe The Appointed Time of Messiah's Birth.
Jesus said that one of the greatest signs of the last days would be that many false prophets would come prophesying in His name and
would deceive many. With so many prophecies being given in the name of Jesus that contradict God's word, it appears as though
the false prophets have arrived. Consequently, God is bringing this issue to a head and demanding that we look at the biblical
definition of what a true prophet is and what he is called to do. This tape series brings biblical clarity to role of the New
Testament prophets from a Hebraic perspective and restores God's vision and purpose for all prophetic ministry. This series
includes:
The Holy Spirit is leading God's people back to walk in unity with His whole word. This prophetic teaching reveals
God's plan for writing His Laws on the hearts of His people according to the New Covenant model (Jer. 31:31-33).
It sheds new light on what "walking in the Spirit" is all about and releases the Kingdom of God in our lives.
It breaks down the religious barriers between the Old and New Covenants and brings them together as one
book! This series includes:
Throughout the history of mankind, God's Commandments have continuously sanctified the Lord's Table from that of pagan
tables. This Torah based prophetic teaching clarifies the apostolic directive given to the gentile church at Antioch (Acts 15)
and helps Jews and gentiles sit down as one new man at the table of the Lord.
This teaching explains:
The celebration of the birth of Jesus on December 25th is a matter of long-established tradition. But the accuracy of this
belief has recently come under scrutiny. "The Mystery of Christmas" is a fascinating amalgamation of Holy Scripture, religious
archeology, mystic folklore, and empirical architecture that uncovers the genesis of our most enduring traditions. This amazing
teaching takes you on a prophetic journey deep into the world's most celebrated holiday and provides indisputable proof of
both its origin and its meaning. At last, you can come in from the cold for a Christmas message that tells it all.
The Mystery of Christmas Study Aid CD below, contains the PowerPoint presentations used in "The Mystery of Christmas" video DVD. (slide samples at bottom of page) Requires Microsoft PowerPoint program.
This prophetic teaching reveals when and how man first lost his love and his fear of God. It also explains God's eternal plan
for restoring these two vital elements in our relationship with Him.
This teaching provides a clear understanding on:
Balaam's counsel not only plagued ancient Israel throughout her history, but Jesus said it would resurface in the church during
the last days. Consequently, the teachings of Balaam have influenced many tenants of the Christian faith without us realizing it.
This prophetic teaching clearly explains the ancient doctrines of Balaam and how they have become a stumbling block for many in
the church today (Rev. 2:12-15). For Mature Audiences Only!
As civil governments transition into the secular New World Order system of the last days, it is imperative for God's
people to understand the biblical relationship between Church and State.
"God and Government" delves into this relationship in detail and shows not only the current relationship between Church and State, but also explains the relationship that God intended. This study includes:
"The Prayer of Jabez" is a short but powerful series of requests that God granted to a man named Jabez.
However, the question that still lingers is: Did God answer Jabez' prayer because of the prayer or because of the man?
The Jabez You Never Knew is a biblical masterpiece on prayer that imparts the Hebraic understanding of why
God really answered the prayer of Jabez. This prophetic script reveals God's eternal laws regarding answered prayer and thrust
you deep into the next level of intercession. It also helps you discern if and when Jezebel is operating in your prayer group.
It is a must read for all true intercessors!
